About the Role

The Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is seeking a seasoned investment professional to lead its Global Funds Strategy as a Managing Director - Funds, Teachers' Venture Growth (TVG). As a key member of the TVG team, you will be responsible for delivering the Global Funds Strategy, which involves:

  • Origination and execution activities for investments in new funds
  • Execution activities for follow-on investments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team of 3-4 investment professionals to achieve strategic objectives
  • Develop and implement investment strategies to drive growth and returns
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the organization's overall investment goals
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including fund managers and investors

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in investment management, with a focus on global funds
