Chief Executive Officer, Invest Ontario

Invest Ontario is seeking a seasoned leader to serve as its Chief Executive Officer. As the dedicated partner to businesses seeking to expand and grow in the province, Invest Ontario requires a visionary leader to drive its mission forward.

About the Role

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for leading the organization in its efforts to attract and retain high-value investments in Ontario. This includes identifying and cultivating potential investors, providing executive investor services, and developing investment strategies that align with the government's economic development priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of investment attraction strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government officials, and industry partners
  • Provide executive-level support to the Board of Directors and other senior leaders
  • Drive the growth and development of Invest Ontario's team and operations
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of leadership and experience in investment attraction, economic development, or a related field. They will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for driving economic growth and job creation in Ontario.
