Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Island View Place Care. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Help with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation
Requirements:
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
