Retail Store Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Team Lead to join our team at Circle K. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of store staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless store operations.
- Customer Service: Foster a positive shopping experience for customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Merchandising: Maintain a visually appealing store environment, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and stocked.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, identifying opportunities to reduce waste and optimize stock levels.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience or equivalent.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in point-of-sale systems.
Work Setting: Our retail store is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and interact with customers from various backgrounds.
Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and childcare.
