Retail Store Manager

Mount Brydges Food Market is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Manage Store Operations: Oversee daily store activities, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
- Drive Sales Growth: Analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase sales and improve customer engagement.
- Manage Inventory: Conduct regular inventory audits, manage stock levels, and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines and heavy workload.
Personal Suitability:- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing store conditions and priorities.
- Spreadsheet: Proficient in using spreadsheet software to analyze sales data and manage inventory.
- Point of Sale System: Experienced in using point of sale systems to process transactions and manage sales data.
