Job Title: Kitchen Exhaust Cleaner

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Exhaust Cleaner to join our team at The Steam Guy Inc. as a Commercial Ventilation Specialist.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining commercial kitchen exhaust systems, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including ducts, vents, and fans.
  • Operate cleaning machines and equipment, such as industrial vacuum cleaners and power sweepers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a high level of satisfaction for our clients.
  • Work at heights and in wet/damp environments, with a focus on safety and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless service delivery and meet client expectations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification.
  • Working at heights training.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
