Job Summary
Randstad Canada is currently hiring a Warehouse Operations Coordinator for one of our renowned clients in the document storage field. This role involves working in a neat and organized facility where you will have the opportunity to develop job skills and become familiar with warehouse storage principles.

About the Role
This position pays $18.73 an hour and requires reliability clearance, which includes fingerprinting. You will need to pay for the fingerprints upfront but will be reimbursed after your first month of working.

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will be responsible for:
  • Walking, standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, and bending for extended periods
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying boxes including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation
  • Loading and unloading boxes, reading labels, and processing incoming and outgoing orders using proprietary computer systems
  • Operating hand-held scanners and climbing ladders
  • Loading and moving boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance for prolonged periods
  • Loading, operating, and moving hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Able to work in a sitting position for the majority of the time
  • Completed a criminal background check
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a warehouse or factory setting
  • Read and write English fluently
