This role is positioned in the department as the first contact point for users when reporting IT issues or requests. As such, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal clients.

In this Tier 1 position, you will assist as directed in installing and evaluating applications, write and maintain basic instructions, and perform various clerical support and reception services for the department. You will work with users to ensure requests are sufficiently detailed to be actioned by the appropriate escalation points.

We are looking for an individual who has completion of Grade 12, supplemented by courses in computer sciences or related discipline at a technical institute or community college, plus sound related experience; OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.

The pay range for this unionized position is $34.63 to $40.74 per hour. The District of North Vancouver is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, and accessible work environment.
