Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Consultant at iON United, you will play a critical role in helping our clients protect their digital assets and infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Confer with clients to identify their specific cybersecurity requirements and develop tailored solutions to address these needs.
  • Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business objectives and mitigate potential risks.
  • Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions that integrate robust security protocols and best practices.
  • Provide expert advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, developing strategies to minimize these risks and prevent potential breaches.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches and ensure business continuity.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Perform usability testing to ensure that information systems are user-friendly and meet business requirements.
  • Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality and identify potential issues.
  • Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, with a strong background in security risk assessment, threat analysis, and incident response.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven expertise in security protocols, threat detection, and mitigation techniques, with a deep understanding of industry regulations and standards.
