About the Role:
We are seeking a caring and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at CareCorp Seniors Services. As a dedicated member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing compassionate and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to best practices and promoting a safe environment.
- Monitor and document residents' health status, identifying changes in condition and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support.
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions, care plans, and available resources, promoting informed decision-making.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment, ensuring a clean and healthy space for residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCN&M).
- Valid CPR/ First Aid certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is an asset.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
