Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to best practices and promoting a safe environment.
  • Monitor and document residents' health status, identifying changes in condition and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support.
  • Educate residents and their families about health conditions, care plans, and available resources, promoting informed decision-making.
  • Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment, ensuring a clean and healthy space for residents and staff.

Qualifications:



  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCN&M).
  • Valid CPR/ First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is an asset.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
