Job Title: Structural CAD/Revit Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Structural CAD/Revit Drafter to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our ERI Sector, you will be responsible for applying your modeling and design expertise to support project work from conceptual design through completion.

About the Role:
  • Apply your structural drafting expertise to support project work from conceptual design through completion.
  • Work closely with the design team to develop drawings and models for planning and construction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Attend client sites and conduct field reviews to gather information and take measurements.
  • Review shop drawings for reinforcing steel and structural steel.
  • Ensure health and safety policies are followed at all sites.
Requirements:
  • College degree/diploma in civil engineering technology, structural engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in structural drafting and design, specifically in Heavy Industrial and/or Mining projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT programs.
  • Demonstrated experience with 2D and 3D modeling.
  • Strong understanding of steel and concrete foundations.
  • Experience within a large project and multi-disciplinary EPCM environment.
  • An understanding of and experience with Ontario and National Building Codes and relevant standards.
