Job Summary

Truphan Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install electrical controls and panel boxes to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution.
  • Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes to maintain electrical system integrity.
  • Install underground wiring and cables to meet project specifications.
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation to track electrical system performance.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to ensure electrical system reliability.
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and integrity of circuits to identify potential electrical hazards.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults to minimize electrical system downtime.
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution.
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables to meet project specifications.
  • Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures to ensure electrical safety.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs to maintain electrical system integrity.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure electrical system compliance.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Permanent employment with a reputable construction company.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week of work to ensure efficient project completion.
