About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team at The Phoenix Centre for Children and Families. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to children, youth, and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counselling sessions to clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Assess client needs and develop service intervention logic models to ensure effective support.
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Implement behaviour management programs and provide suicide and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Conduct administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
