Associate Physician, Richmond Hospital Cancer Care Clinic

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking an Associate Physician to join our team at Richmond Hospital Cancer Care Clinic. As an Associate Physician, you will work under the supervision of an attending oncologist to provide care to clients of the Cancer Care clinic.
The Associate Physician will perform services within the scope of an Associate Physician's clinical duties and responsibilities, serving as a physician extender to provide care to clients of the Cancer Care clinic. The successful candidate will have a medical degree from a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and a minimum of two years of accredited postgraduate training as a medical or surgical specialist, verified by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. They will also have the ability to document in accordance with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and organizational standards, policies, and guidelines.
The Associate Physician will be remunerated at pay level Range 9 following a successful 12-week orientation and assessment period, and will receive requisite benefits, including four weeks of paid vacation and extended health, dental, life, and disability insurance.
