Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Italian Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of staff, managing inventory, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and Team Management: Create and manage schedules for staff members, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods and effectively coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food, beverages, and supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock levels and implementing strategies to minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, addressing complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular checks on food quality, presentation, and preparation methods to maintain high standards.
  • Staff Development: Provide training and coaching to staff members on job duties, sanitation procedures, and effective communication skills.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance, maintaining accurate records and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience
