Senior Project Manager Lead for Solar Racking Systems

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager Lead to oversee the program lifecycle of solar racking systems at Polar Racking Inc.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and overseeing phases from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, coordinating vendor activities and ensuring cost, delivery, and quality targets are met.
  • Lead local and regional teams, providing guidance and making good decisions.
  • Establish project objectives, including timing, resources, quality, budgets, and manufacturing performance.
  • Ensure prototype and production tools meet targeted cost, quality, and timing constraints.
  • Responsible for team member training, development, and goal setting.
  • Able to attract new business and support bringing in additional sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Fulfills all operational procedures and Health and Safety programs.
  • Travel to project sites, business meetings, and trade shows as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in project management, preferably in the solar industry or foundation installation and related fields.
  • Knowledge of foundation technologies and associated best practices is an asset.
  • Experience managing construction projects and cost control.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and best practices related to site construction.
  • PMP certification is considered an asset but not required.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 depending on experience.
