At Intact, we're seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve our business objectives.

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can perform variance analysis on expenses, closing activities, and other financial tasks. You'll also be responsible for maintaining our Online Planning tool, participating in report production, and ensuring the availability of key information to partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform variance analysis on expenses (actual/budget/forecast)
  • Perform closing activities (accruals, prepaid, allocations of expenses, etc.)
  • Maintain the Online Planning tool (annual maintenance, testing, documentation, and support)
  • Participate in report production
  • Ensure availability of reports, full Team Employee figures, and other key information to partners
  • Maintain cost centres and general ledger accounts
  • Improve and document processes
  • Assist on ad hoc projects and requests

Requirements

  • Accounting designation (or in pursuit) or any combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 2 to 3 years related experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Bilingualism (French-English)
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada
