We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Tai Sun Restaurant Gander.

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, as well as maintain high standards of quality and consistency in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.

About You
  • You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a senior chef role, preferably in a restaurant environment.
  • You possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving common goals.
  • You have a strong understanding of culinary techniques, menu planning, and food safety protocols.
Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and effective teamwork.
  • Culinary Expertise: Develop and implement menus, control food costs, and maintain high-quality food preparation and presentation standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee inventory management, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to junior staff members to ensure their growth and development within the team.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $$$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
