We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Network Specialist to join our team at Kan Camtek. This is a permanent, full-time position offering 35-44 hours of work per week.

About the Role:

  • This role involves inspecting and testing cable signals and associated equipment, diagnosing and locating equipment faults, and adjusting or repairing telecommunications equipment.
  • You will also be responsible for inspecting the operation of telecommunications equipment, testing installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults, analyzing test results, and completing and maintaining test and service reports.
  • In addition, you will determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble, initiate repair personnel dispatch, and operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
  • As a Telecommunications Network Specialist, you will also play a key role in determining work assignments and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

About You:

  • To be successful in this role, you should have excellent technical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team and provide accurate and reliable results.
  • Familiarity with computerized testing systems and experience working with telecommunications equipment is an asset.
