About the Role

Cooke Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team of IT professionals. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering complex IT-based projects that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, senior management, and project teams to identify and prioritize project objectives and goals.
  • Lead and guide project teams to ensure successful project delivery, adhering to established methodologies and best practices.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain project management-related artefacts, including project charters, management plans, and budgets.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and changes to stakeholders, project teams, and senior management.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to project team members on project delivery and management standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive experience in project management, with a strong knowledge of project lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Proven experience leading strategic and tactical management of concurrent medium to large-scale technology projects.
  • Ability to develop quality project management artefacts, including charters, project management plans, and multi-year project budgets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Project Management Professional certification or equivalent working experience.
