Salary

The salary range for this position is $26.37 to $29.34 per hour, based on experience, plus a current shift premium of $1.25 per hour. Additionally, you will receive company-paid benefits, including medical and life insurance, starting upon hire, as well as profit-sharing bonuses and a company-contributed pension plan.

Job Description

As a Welder III, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Lifting, assembling, and tacking joist pieces at the jig
  • Reading and interpreting shop drawings as required
  • Helping set up the jig as needed
  • Keeping the work area clean and following 5S standards
  • Complying with health and safety policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to produce clean, accurate welds and pass CWB welding tests
  • The ability to regularly push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds, stand continuously, and hold a welding gun
  • welding experience or training in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • The ability to communicate, read, and write in English

Work Environment

  • The ability to stand continuously, with frequent walking and occasional sitting
