Marketing Coordinator Job Description

At YMM Restaurant Supplies, we are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research: Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers to inform marketing decisions.
  • Advertising and Promotions: Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Communication: Answer written and oral inquiries, and prepare communications material to engage with customers and stakeholders.
  • Event Planning: Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions to showcase our products and services.
  • Marketing Materials: Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other marketing materials to support our marketing efforts.
  • Media Relations: Initiate and maintain contact with the media to secure press coverage and promote our brand.
  • Training and Development: Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions to support our marketing goals.
  • Contract Management: Prepare sports, literary, performance, or other contracts to support our marketing efforts.
  • Marketing Analysis: Conduct analytical marketing studies to evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing strategies.
  • Portfolio Development: Develop a portfolio of marketing materials to showcase our brand and products.
  • Customer Service: Evaluate customer service and store environments to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Digital Marketing: Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions to reach a wider audience.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

  • 35 hours per week.
  • English language.
