Community Mental Health Specialist

As a Community Mental Health Specialist with Interior Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing acute and chronic mental health issues and substance use.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assessment, treatment, case management, community support, and urgent response to clients who require timely and responsive clinical services.
- Function as a primary clinician utilizing specialized treatment modalities/therapies for individuals, groups of clients, and their families.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
- Two years' recent related MHSU experience in the assigned clinical area(s).
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current valid B.C. driver's license.
- A competitive hourly wage range of $41.42 to $55.91, effective April 1, 2024.
- A casual opportunity with varying shifts, including Monday to Friday days from 08:30 to 16:30.
