Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment, vehicles, and small engines. The ideal candidate will ensure the cleanliness and organization of our shop, assist with shipping and receiving, and participate in deliveries related to our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on 2-stroke equipment, small diesel engines, and company vehicles.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Maintenance Logs: Maintain accurate maintenance logs for all equipment and vehicles.
  • Shop Operations: Ensure that the shop remains clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Assist with the organization and receiving of shipments, as well as the delivery of tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
  • Inventory Management: Help manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, and report when stock is low.
  • Safety Standards: Adhere to safety standards and protocols in all tasks.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with 2-stroke equipment, small diesel engines, and vehicles.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Forklift Certification: Forklift certification or experience (preferred but not required).
Work Schedule and Benefits

The successful candidate will have a competitive salary of $60,000 per year and opportunities for advancement in a friendly and supportive work environment. The standard working hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
