About the Division of Infectious Diseases


The Division of Infectious Diseases in Saskatoon is a dynamic team of six clinicians who specialize in adult infectious diseases. We provide comprehensive service delivery at three major hospitals: Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon City Hospital, and St Paul's Hospital. Our team is actively involved in various networks, including the Saskatchewan Infectious Disease Care Network, which provides essential services to marginalized neighborhoods in Saskatoon and northern communities in Saskatchewan. Additionally, we contribute to Infection Prevention and Control and Antimicrobial Stewardship programs, focusing on local service needs such as HIV, chronic viral hepatitis, TB, and transplant ID.



Responsibilities

As an Infectious Diseases Specialist with our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines, and participating in education and research initiatives that enhance our knowledge and skills in the field of infectious diseases.



Requirements

  • Certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
  • Certification in Medical Microbiology or additional training in infection control is an asset
