Workday Payroll Functional Consultant Job Description

At Nova Tribes Inc, we are seeking a seasoned Workday Payroll Functional Consultant with extensive experience in HCM applications and expertise in Workday integrations and reports. The ideal candidate will lead Workday system implementations and integrations, particularly in Payroll, HCM, Benefits, and Time Tracking, while providing technical leadership and support.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Workday system implementations and integrations for Payroll, HCM, and related modules.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, integrations, and configurations within Workday.
  • Provide technical expertise and ensure solutions follow best practices.
  • Manage testing, validation, and troubleshooting of Workday configurations and integrations.
  • Utilize Workday Studio to build complex integrations with well-documented solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Stay current on Workday updates, recommending improvements and ensuring system optimization.

Requirements:
  • 12-15 years of experience with HCM applications (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Workday integrations and reports with technical development and management expertise.
  • Proven ability to lead Workday system implementations and integrations for HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, and other modules.
  • Strong proficiency in Workday Web Services and Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS).
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, developing complex integrations following best practices with thorough technical documentation.
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining custom reports, integrations, and configurations within Workday.
  • Provide technical leadership to the project team, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimized solutions.
  • Manage the testing, validation, and troubleshooting of Workday configurations and integrations, ensuring data accuracy and system performance.
  • Collaborate with Workday support and vendors to resolve system issues efficiently.
  • Stay updated on Workday enhancements, recommending improvements to processes and configurations.
  • Work closely with IT teams for seamless system integrations.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Workday, including system upgrades and issue resolution.
