Job Title: Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at ELEMA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and preparing plans and specifications for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications for steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and other structures;
  • Conduct studies, surveys, and technical reports to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations;
  • Supervise the preparation of plans, quotes, estimates, and other specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness;
  • Plan, organize, and supervise all current projects' operations in accordance with schedules and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with a specialization in structures;
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in structural engineering;
  • Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec);
  • Proficiency in SAP, ETABS, SP Slab, and Safe software;
  • ASP card;
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite;
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet tight deadlines;
  • Valid driving license;
  • Fluency in English, French is an asset;
  • Curiosity and creativity in finding innovative solutions;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a transdisciplinary environment;
  • Sense of responsibility with effective communication skills;
  • Knowledge transfer skills;
  • Attention to detail.
