About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Saltlik. As a Shift Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our restaurant by leading a team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses to deliver exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses to ensure excellent customer service and a high level of quality in food and beverage preparation and presentation.
  • Manage labor budgets, maintain a clean and organized environment, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their skills and performance, and provide feedback and guidance to help them grow in their roles.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as kitchen and management, to ensure seamless communication and execution of daily operations.
  • Monitor and address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role in the food service industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
