Job Title: Clinical Psychologist II

Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist II to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide advanced level psychological services to our clients, including assessment and treatment services.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy services to clients, using evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic modalities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that address the client's physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Participate in research opportunities to improve clinical services and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
  • Provide clinical supervision and education to psychology graduate students and allied health professional students.
  • Develop and implement therapy programs in conjunction with other members of the treatment team.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA/CPA accredited graduate program.
  • Eligible for active practicing licensure to practice Psychologist with applicable regulatory body in the province of Manitoba.
  • Experience with psychological testing/assessment software and statistical analysis programs.
  • Specialized knowledge of and experience in working with applicable client/patient population.
  • Ability to provide consultation to other mental health professionals and other programs in areas of expertise.
