**Job Summary**

Prairie Mountain Health seeks a skilled and dedicated Nurse II to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients/residents/clients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Practice in accordance with the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) or the Registered Psychiatric Nurse Act of Manitoba, the Standards of Practice (CRNM or CRPNM), entry-level competencies for RNs or RPNs, and the Professional Code of Ethics.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant competencies for the position offered by PMH.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**

  • Active practicing licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba or eligibility for active practicing licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider (P) and Renewal (R), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider and Renewal.
  • Successful completion of an Accredited Critical Care/ICU Nursing Program and one (1) year equivalent full-time experience in an active Intensive Care Unit or Coronary Care Unit as a Registered Nurse within the last three (3) years.
  • Demonstrated clinical nursing skills and concepts in accordance with approved nursing standards, effective decision-making regarding nursing care, and basic knowledge and skills to work with computers and electronic software programs.
  • Effective problem-solving, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and clients.
