About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at MOHAN DHABBA ON WHEEL INC. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Scan Items: Effectively scan products, manage inventory, and maintain a high level of accuracy in the scanning process.
  • Tabulate Total Payment: Calculate and collect payment from customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Receive Payment: Handle customer payments, process returns, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Monitor Entrances and Exits: Ensure the security of our store by monitoring all entrances and exits, and requesting proof of payment when necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, reliable, and able to work in a team environment.
Work Environment
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
