Job Title: Shift Manager

We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Dspot Dessert Cafe. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dessert cafe during your shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Train Staff: Provide training to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Determine the necessary ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
