Job Summary

JK Capital Management Inc is seeking a skilled Drywall Finishing Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all drywall installations are completed to the highest standard of quality and finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and finish drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces for painting and decorating.
  • Apply coats of joint compound to fill joints and seams, and sand to a smooth finish.
  • Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to ensure accurate and precise installations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
  • Work at heights on scaffolding and ladders to install drywall and other materials.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure successful project completion.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
Work Environment

The Drywall Finishing Specialist will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, and in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands
  • Hand-eye coordination to perform tasks accurately.
  • Physical stamina to work at heights and in a physically demanding environment.
