Restaurant Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at N.B. Inc. dba Dairy Queen Amherst. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets to determine food, ingredient, and supply costs, ensuring optimal profitability.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Analyze sales data to determine labor costs and make informed decisions to optimize revenue.
  • Staff Performance: Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching and training to ensure high standards are met.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Operations Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language required
