Job Summary

This is a dynamic role within the Radwell International shipping department, responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and packaging of shipments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify picking tickets against order numbers to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain a well-organized shipping area, adhering to standard procedures.
  • Ensure shipments are processed on schedule, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with other departments, responding promptly to inquiries and requests.
  • Utilize UPS, FedEx, Purolator, and Loomis software with proficiency, ensuring seamless shipping operations.
  • Understand commercial invoices and freight orders, applying this knowledge to optimize shipping processes.
  • Pack and prepare industrial electronics and related components for shipment, adhering to safety protocols.
Performance Metrics
  • Packaging Handling: Maintain standard processing procedures to ensure accuracy, adjusting volume of work as needed.
  • Processing counts are measured and checked for accuracy against standards. Employee must maintain accuracy throughout the month for the bonus program.
  • Employee will be evaluated on the accuracy of orders processed and performance level as measured against volume demand.
Work Environment

The shipping area is a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Employees are required to wear Radwear (company-branded apparel) at all times and adhere to a casual yet professional dress code. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.

Required Skills
  • Strong computer proficiency, with experience in shipping software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
