About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Maintenance Associate to join our team at CEI Fleet Collision and Safety. As a key member of our fleet management team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' vehicle fleets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in car and light duty maintenance, including repairs, preventative maintenance, and labor & parts costs.
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails from drivers and suppliers, resolving inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Triage and respond to inquiries coming from our Maintenance Platform, email, or other internal tools.
  • Assist drivers in locating appropriate repair facilities and negotiate repairs on our client's behalf.
  • Assess caller's needs, clarify information, research any issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives.
  • Handle calls in an efficient manner, minimizing driver/client time to resolve issues.
  • Strive for first call resolution and exhibit applicable empathy during each call.
  • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensed, 310S and/or 310T is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on automotive mechanical experience.
  • Positive & upbeat communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Team player who enjoys working with clients and repair shops daily.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficient with computer skills and using software such as Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
