About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual with a background in the automotive industry. As a Maintenance Generalist Associate, you'll play a critical role in providing top-notch products and services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to incoming calls from drivers and suppliers to resolve technical and non-technical inquiries.
  • Providing service assistance and directions to drivers and clients.
  • Answering supplier calls and creating electronic repair invoices.
  • Negotiating repair prices and reviewing requests for compliance with client policy and Element's standard operating procedures.
  • Issuing authorizations for valid repairs to manage client vehicle maintenance repair costs and minimize vehicle downtime.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of general automotive knowledge; mechanic experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and respond to internal and external requests within specified timeframes.
  • Ability to research and resolve problems independently.
  • Effective communication skills with suppliers, clients, and internal personnel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and multitask between different work queues.
