A leading healthcare non-profit organization based in Mississauga is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist for a 10-month contract. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an HR professional to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team while making a meaningful impact in the nonprofit healthcare sector.

This HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, and coaching. The position requires on-site work three days a week, with occasional travel to other locations in Brampton and Oakville.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
  • Support performance management processes, including evaluations, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Coordinate HR training initiatives, workshops, and professional development programs.
  • Assist in HR projects and initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
  • Contribute to HR reporting and data analysis for informed decision-making.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with ~4–5 years of HR experience in an HR Generalist or equivalent role, including employee relations, full-cycle recruitment, health & safety, and coaching. Strong understanding of Ontario employment laws, ESA standards, and HR best practices is also required. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. CHRP designation (or in progress) is an asset.
