About the Role:
- Validate complex models, including credit risk, pricing, actuarial, and machine learning models, to ensure their accuracy and reliability.
- Design and implement statistical tests to assess model sensitivity and robustness, and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor model performance and provide expert recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive validation reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure model risk governance.
- Contribute to the development of industry-leading model validation procedures and best practices.

About You:
- Postgraduate degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative field.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in modelling/validation or quantitative analytics.
- Demonstrated experience with actuarial, statistical, and econometric models.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with various quantitative software.
- Knowledge of OSFI capital rules and risk management standards.
- Demonstrated experience in writing technical modelling or validation reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional designation in Actuarial, Chartered Financial Analyst, Professional Risk Manager, Financial Risk Manager, Certificate in Quantitative Finance, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with mortgage insurance, retail lending, scorecard development, economic capital, and stress testing.
- Experience with Machine Learning algorithms and Probabilistic Modelling.
- Bilingual (English & French).
