About the Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Enterprise Linux Systems Architect to join our dynamic IT team. This role involves implementing and supporting TechOps/DevOps operations based on automated and orchestrated virtual environments builds along with continuous integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
You will administer enterprise-level Oracle Linux systems for development, test, and production environments using VMWare, Puppet, and Ansible in a Highly-Available 24/7 production environment. Key tasks include installing new servers, configuring hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc., according to standards, policies, project requirements, and licensing agreements. You will also contribute to security planning, risk analysis, and incident response activities for system and networking operations. Additionally, you will coordinate annual Linux security audits, apply OS patches and upgrades, configure or add new services as necessary, perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization, and monitor system integrity and availability.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with over 7 years of experience. You must have solid knowledge of Oracle or Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ansible, Puppet, Apache, and Tomcat. A Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is desired. Strong network, host, and application security background is essential. Experience with F5 load balancing, Oracle RDBMS, WebLogic, ODA appliance, virtualization (VMWare, VCloud), shell scripting, storage technologies (SAN, NAS, RAID, iSCSI), content management, container technologies (Docker), Palo Alto Firewall configuration, monitoring tools (Splunk), and software revision control (Git) is preferred. Fluency in English is required, and bilingual skills in French are an asset.
