We are a leading provider of logistics solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our dispatchers and ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Job Summary

This is a supervisory role that requires a strong understanding of logistics operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have at least 7 months of experience in a similar role and a valid Class 5/5F/G License (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train dispatchers to ensure optimal use of resources and efficient delivery of services.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet customer demands and company objectives.
  • Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panels to optimize route planning and minimize delays.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • At least 7 months of experience in a supervisory role within the trucking industry.
  • Valid Class 5/5F/G License (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
