Gaming Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional within the gaming industry to join our team at the Coulson Group of Companies. The Gaming Operations Manager's primary function is to assist with optimizing net income by focusing on superior customer service while providing guests with top-tier entertainment while handling management and oversight of the gaming areas. This position will be responsible for supervising staff members, promoting positive working relationships in an exciting environment while supporting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with day-to-day operations and tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate an ongoing ability to work by the gaming industry standards, covering skill requirements, professionalism, guest services, policies and procedures, and operating procedures.
  • Set and work to reach financial goals for the gaming department on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Manage, direct, and delegate tasks to staff.
  • Work in tandem with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and HR to develop succession and recruitment plans.
  • Ensure that all industry standards and policies are followed, and that any deviations are reported and followed up on.
  • Handle and resolve any problems with guests and staff in a professional and sensitive manner.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • 3 years of supervisor experience managing at least 10 people.
  • 1 year of experience working with and managing profit and loss statements.
  • 5 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor staff.

Preferred Experience:

  • Banking or gaming experience is highly desired.
  • A degree in finance, business, or hospitality is highly desired.

Compensation:

$60K - $70K plus company-paid benefits and vacation.
