Job Overview


The Executive Chef will oversee the culinary operations of our resort, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced chef to lead a team of cooks and maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation.



Salary Range


$26.00 - $26.00 per hour



About the Role


We are seeking an Executive Chef who can prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of related work experience and a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.



Responsibilities


The Executive Chef will be responsible for:



  • Pulling food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
  • Maintaining food logs
  • Regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
  • Ensuring proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
  • Communicating assistance needed during busy periods
  • Informing Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials
  • Informing Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items
  • Assisting management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees
  • Serving as a role model and ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors


Preferred Qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess:



  • At least 3 years of related work experience
  • A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Licenses or certifications not required
