Food Service Manager

SUN SET GRILL is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Lead a team of kitchen staff to prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
- Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, inventory management, and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
- Maintain Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Setting: Restaurant
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, moving around the kitchen to supervise and assist staff.
- Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to achieve our goals and objectives.
- Reliability: Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Organized: Maintain a high level of organization, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
