Job Description
School District #60 (Peace River North) is seeking a skilled Youth Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with educators and counsellors to provide support services to students facing social/emotional or mental health challenges.

About the Position
The successful candidate will participate in student placement, progress monitoring, and team meetings, as well as assist in developing and implementing individual and group life skills programs. You will also provide crisis intervention and management, facilitate group counselling sessions, and transport students to services as needed.

Key Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalency
- Minimum of two years of university or college coursework in areas related to youth care and counselling
- Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention certification program required before completion of probationary period
- Two years recent experience in Conflict Resolution, Anger Management, and Life Skills
- Valid B.C. driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Food Safe Certification
