Key Responsibilities:- Operate a cube van to deliver and receive products in excellent condition.
- Load and unload product from vehicles.
- Conduct product transfers and deliveries between Sheridan locations across the GTA.
- Obey all MTO requirements and maintain organized documentation of trucking and delivery information.
- Collaborate with Store Management and the Joint Health & Safety Committee to ensure a safe work environment.
- Stay up-to-date on Sheridan Nurseries products and services.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a G class license with a clean driving abstract.
- Experience driving a truck or cube van in various road and weather conditions.
- Ability to adapt and prioritize tasks with effective time management skills.
- Punctuality and dependability, with a strong value on honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles.
- Forklift experience an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability to work weekdays, occasional weekends, and evenings as scheduled.
