Job Summary:

The Aerospace Inspector is a key member of our quality assurance team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our aerospace products. As an Inspector, you will be working under the general direction of the Center Manager, executing activities associated with incoming and outgoing processes, including part-time evaluation of specimens with laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of aerospace components to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
  • Review and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in our quality control processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Perform laboratory tests and evaluations to ensure the quality of aerospace materials and components.
  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports and test results.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our quality control processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as aerospace engineering, materials science, or quality assurance.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices, including ISO 9001 and AS9100.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints, and procedures.
