Food Service Manager

Shoeless Joes Stockyards is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Manage Inventory: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare budget and cost estimates, prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
