Position Overview

The Accounts Payable Clerk, Level 2 at Shared Health is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers for goods and services acquired for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and verify invoices for payment
  • Manage accounts payable ledger and reconcile statements
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment discrepancies
  • Provide information about payables and payments for reporting purposes

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a computerized accounting environment
  • Completion of high school education, Manitoba standards
  • Completion of Business/Accounting diploma from a recognized business college within the last 8 years
  • Typing minimum 50 WPM
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of General Accounting concepts and account coding
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
