Job Summary:

The Senior Sourcing Specialist plays a critical role in achieving company objectives by leading the supplier management process. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize sourcing initiatives, develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and handle preferred supplier relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories.">
  3. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.">
  4. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value while protecting the company's interests.">
  5. Manage inflation, sourcing savings, and purchased-part variances (PPV) to ensure operational goals are achieved.">
  6. Liaise with suppliers to onboard and develop them.">
  7. Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.">
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet their sourcing needs.">
  9. Address supplier relationship issues promptly.">
  10. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.">
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.">
  12. Present reports on sourcing activities and performance metrics.">
  13. Provide material delivery status reports and issue work orders.">
  14. Manage supplier non-disclosure agreements.">

Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.">
  • 5 years' relevant procurement/sourcing experience in a project-based or manufacturing environment.">
  • CSCP or SCMP designation is preferred.">
  • Proven expertise in buying strategies, supply chain processes, and inventory management.">
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.">
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).">
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.">
  • Proficient in Excel.">
